What does Ardent do?
Ardent gives U.S. law firms trained legal support teams based in the Philippines. Most of our work is with personal injury firms, where our staff handle intake, medical records, demand drafting, lien work, and case management support. We also work with firms in other practice areas, so if your firm isn’t in PI, talk to us. We have supported law firms since 2015 and have worked on more than 15,000 cases.
What practice areas do you support?
Personal injury is our core, and most of our experience is there. But the skills behind good support work, such as organizing records, drafting, tracking deadlines, and keeping files moving, carry over to other practices. If your firm works in family law, criminal defense, employment, or another area, tell us what you need, and we’ll give you an honest answer on whether we’re the right fit.
What is legal process outsourcing (LPO)?
LPO means a law firm hands defined legal support work to an outside team instead of doing all of it in house. The firm keeps its attorneys, its clients, and every legal decision. The outside team handles the support work underneath. A good LPO partner doesn't run a separate process on the side. Its people work inside your firm's routine, so the handoff feels like adding staff, not adding a vendor.
Is Ardent a staffing agency or a virtual assistant company?
No. A staffing agency places someone and steps back. A virtual assistant company usually offers general admin help. Ardent trains its people specifically in personal injury work, assigns its own supervisors and quality checks, and manages the HR, payroll, IT, and office behind your team. You get a working legal support team, not a new hire you have to train from zero.
Will an Ardent team replace my in-house staff?
No, and it isn't meant to. Most firms use us to take pressure off the people they already have. Your local team keeps client relationships and the judgment calls. Our team absorbs the volume work that piles up behind them.
Which tasks can your team take on?
Our teams cover the full life of a PI case:
Intake: capturing and qualifying new leads so good cases don't slip.Treatment and records: requesting records and bills, following up with providers, and tracking treatment.Demand preparation: organizing records, building chronologies, and drafting demands for attorney review.Negotiation support: handling adjuster follow ups within the settlement authority your attorney sets.Liens: gathering lien information and working reductions within the parameters your attorney approves.Case management: tracking milestones, deadlines, and client updates across your caseload.
